North Carolina Nanotechnology Directory
North Carolina has at least 70 companies working with nanotechnology. Spanning a variety of industries and products, they range from small startups using nanotechnology as a core part of their manufacturing processes and services, to large firms using nanotechnology as part of their broader operations.
In addition, North Carolina's universities are home to more than 34 organizations and programs focused on nanotechnology. They are producing new knowledge and products that will help build North Carolina's 21st century economy, enhance the quality of life, protect the environment, and promote national security.
The directory below, which is currently being updated and modified, includes companies and university organizations that the staff of the Office of Science & Technology have verified as working with nanotechnology.
